Private Lessons Avaliable: Students recieve individual instruction in painting or drawing in their choice of media. Private Lessons are $50 each payable by the lesson. Lessons are 3 hours. You work in the media of your choice, Watercolor, Pastel, Drawing, Oil, Acrylic. Schedule at your convience. Call Toni at 863 646 1535

NEW Drawing Group Every Tuesday evenings 6:30 to 9:30, currently held at Garden District Artists, 818 E. Lemon St., Lakeland. restart January 10th. Bring the media of your choice. Alternate between an evening of short poses 3 min. to 20-40 min. and then an evening with one long pose. Easels and small tables, and chairs will be available.
Hoping to find 8 to 12 people dedicated to practicing and improving their drawing skills who

NEW Figure Drawing Class!
Every Tuesday 10 to 1, Starting Jan. 10th fully instructed class. Learn the techniques professional artists use to
get a likeness of your subject. Learn the structure of the head, the porportions of the body and how to measure and how to depict features and forms so your drawing looks 3 dimensional.
Drawing will be done from a live lightly clothed model, no photographs will be used. Class is $20 plus $5 fee for model
Maximum students: 8, 2 to 5pm class will open if there is interest.
Sign up ASAP to get your place in this exciting class. You may pay by the class you attend. But it is good to come each time if possible.
Materials:
18x24 Strathmore 400 Series drawing pad
18x24 Strathmore Newsprint pad.
Vine Charcoal in medium or graphite pencils in hard, medium and soft.
Charcoal is a wonderful medium, messy, but very very forgiving allowing you to make endless adjustments to your work...which is very important for beginners!
Kneadable eraser
Chamois cloth
1 sheet of White Form Core Board to hold your pads.
2 big bulldog clips to hold your pads to the foam core Board.
Cheap plastic see thru ruler
Needed Models For Art Drawing classes
Clothed, nude or portrait head models needed.
Clothed $7.50 per hour
Nude: $10.oo per hour
Job description: Model will pose sitting very still for 20 minute intervals with 10 minute breaks in between, and strike some shorter poses.
At the beginning of each sessions(except portrait models) models will strike timed poses from 1 to 3 minutes in duration, these quick poses require
the model to be agile and able to hold a variety of interestingly twisting positions similar to those of an athlete or dancer, standing or sitting for those times.
We need variety of people types for this positon. You may be scheduled from one night to 4 times a month depending on class needs. No Photographs will be
allowed to be taken of models, these are strictly art drawing sessions.

The Art of Painting in Oil, Acrylic, and Pastel
A Class for beginners and intermediate painters alike. For those who have never painted we start at the very beginning, and if you have painted there will be a lot to learn with individual instruction on your level based on where you are, bring examples of your work so I can know what you need to learn. We start with doing a still life from life, a composition of your choosing! Everyone will leave with a completed painting and lots of knowledge of the art of Painting! Thursdays (6 weeks)January 12th to Feb. 16th
And the second session March 1st to April 4th 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm $120 (plus supplies, call or email me for supply list)
The Fine Art of Watercolor Painting
A Class for beginners and intermediate painters alike. For those who have never painted we start at the very beginning, and if you have painted there will be a lot to learn with individual instruction on your level based on where you are, bring examples of your work so I can know what you need to learn. Everyone will leave with lots of knowledge of the art of Watercolor Painting...Lots of techniques and lots of small paintings learning them sdone learning how to handle watercolor and all the wonderful ways it can be used. Thursdays (6 weeks) January 12 -Feb 23rd, no class Jan 26th
And the second session March 1st to April 4th 9:30 am to 12:30pm $120 (plus supplies, call or email me for supply list )
Learn to Draw
Beginners will learn the visual skills it takes to draw accurately from life doing lots of excersizes and practice. Perspective, edges, shading, looking at negative and postive spaces, measuring skills will all be covered. You will work in pencil and vine charcoal. See supply list for Figure Drawing above. Thursdays (6 weeks) January 12 -Feb 23rd, no class Jan 26th
